After leaving Amber in spite of the quarantine in effect due to the parasite infestation after the birthday celebration a year ago, Helena was drawn into a net of deceit, conspiracy, and terror when she was arrested on Avernus. Detained, kidnapped, nearly killed, sold into slavery, liberated, and then on the run, she has been accused of Conspiracy against the Republic with a standing order issued for her arrest. With that to consider, it is not surprising that she went into hiding.
