1. Dreamwell Theatre: That Day in September[Dimensions: 8.5 inches x 11 inches, 11 inches x 17 inches.]
Paper sky with type towers design.
2. 10K3 Annual Report[Dimensions: 4-page double-sided tabloid spread.]
Guitar cutout path with collage cover design.
3. 10K3 CAKE concert ticket[Dimensions: 2 inches x 3.5 inches.]
Textured typography design.
4. Dreamwell Theatre advertising[Dimensions for both: 11 inches x 14 inches.]
Part of the Dream Home Campaign: Dream Home logo and Dreamwell Reflections day and night posters. The night poster uses scene passages with key words highlighted to create a constellation of words related to home, while the day poster shares the home key words to run a path under the Dream Home logo.
5. Dreamwell Theatre Fortinbras poster[Dimensions: 8.5 inches x 11 inches.]
The obvious intertwined sword and flower illustration points to the play title, cut from the black terrain like foreground, with the "F" as a combination of letter, face, cup, and crown, representing symbols from the play.
6. SotA CP advertisement[Dimensions: 3 inches x 9.5 inches.]
Summer of the Arts Coaster Project advertisement (p19).
7. Iowa Club newsletters[Dimensions: various.]
While at AdPro Design Group, Inc., I produced over 30 of these letters in quick turn-around. They were printed double-sided on various yellow stock paper and mailed to The University of Iowa alumni Iowa Club members, in postcard, legal, or tabloid sizes.
8. De Stijl poster[Dimensions: 44 square inches when not diagonal.]
From the "Early 20th Century Design" education exhibition, this poster demonstrates and lists several Destijl design principles, as well as its members.
9. Downtown Iowa City wayfinding[Dimensions: photo-realistic overlays.]
As part of a downtown wide environmental design proposal, which included signs designating areas of importance, as well as including the Iowa City Public Transit System.
10. Leica Camera poster[Dimensions: 17 inches x 11 inches.]
Grid format showcasing views and features in English and German.
11. Mahler CD packaging[Dimensions: 5 inches x 4.25 inches, folded. Also contains booklet, disc sleeve, and disc.]
Based off of a combination of a concert poster design and a Rhino Jazz music package format, this package encompasses artistic mood and clean layout, and includes a custom die cut preview window in the package cover.
12. Mahler 5th Symphony poster[Dimensions: 10 inches x 15.5 inches.]
A handful of the composer's, Mahler, bust pictures blended in layers via Photoshop, remains the poster's centerpiece.
13. DMK designs label resume[Dimensions: 9.75 inches x 4.25 inches.]
Self-identification and marketing label poster, fit for attachment to your favorite soup can.
14. Swarm booklet[Dimensions: 4.75 square inches.]
A comparison between honey bee swarms and the design Gestalt principles using scientific and microscopic imaging along with illustrations.
